FLAMS ENSEMBLEFlams Ensemble is a contemporary jazz group that features Miles Freeman on saxophones and flute, David Read and Reese Hoag on keyboards, Crute Cox on bass, and Clint Freeman on drums. Saxophone extraordinaire Wynell Montgomery has appeared with the group as well as trumpter Simon Austin. Vocalists Brenda Thomas, Angela Winters, and Ryan and Lauren Lowen have also been featured. Guitarist Bobby O has been invited as a very special guest as well. Bandleader/drummer Clint Freeman resided in Tokyo, Japan for 17 years and assisted in producing some of the greatest living legends of jazz and pop for stage and television: David Sanborn, Pat Metheny, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Michael Brecker, John McLaughlin, McCoy Tyner, Manhattan Transfer, Take 6, BeBe and CeCe Winans, Diana Ross, and Michael McDonald just to name a few. He has also led and performed with an array of musical groups ranging from gospel, rock, latin, jazz, ethnic Greek music, and an African drum circle. Clint is also a Realtor with Coldwell Banker and presently hosts www.RidgecrestCaHomes.com.
